At Samantha Howard Vintage (SHV), we ship our rare and unique vintage finds worldwide. We pride ourselves on expert packing, rapid dispatch, and subsidised, below-cost shipping rates to ensure your pieces arrive safely.

1. REGIONAL SHIPPING OVERVIEW

Within Canada

All domestic packages are shipped safely using Canada Post. Standard delivery times apply based on your province. If you require expedited transit times, priority handling, or guaranteed delivery dates, please contact us prior to checkout for a premium service quote.

To the United States (Important U.S. Tariff & Customs Mandates)

Following major trade regulation updates and the suspension of the U.S. postal de minimis exemption, shipping to the United States requires specific processing rules:

• Standard Courier (UPS): Our default shipping carrier for the United States is UPS. Any customs duties or import fees applied by UPS at the border remain the sole responsibility of the buyer upon delivery.
• Postal Service Option (Canada Post / USPS): If you prefer your package to be delivered via the postal system (Canada Post handed off to USPS), all duties must be prepaid in advance. Canada Post cannot legally accept a commercial parcel bound for the U.S. without a prepaid duty verification ID.
• Action Required: If you want to use the postal system instead of UPS, please Contact Us before purchasing so we can calculate, arrange, and collect your prepaid customs duties.

International Destinations (EU, UK, and Global)

We happily ship worldwide! For all destinations outside of North America, please contact us for an accurate shipping quote before finalizing your order.

• Please wait for us to update the shipping criteria for your specific country before completing your checkout sequence.
• Import Fees: International buyers are fully responsible for any local VAT, brokerage fees, or customs duties levied by their respective countries. Packages returned to us due to unpaid local customs fees will be treated in accordance with our return guidelines.

2. SHIPPING RATES

Jewelry — Flat Rate

We offer the following flat-rate tiers for vintage jewelry orders shipped across North America:

• 1 Piece: $5.00 USD (Approx. $8.00 CAD)
• 2 to 5 Pieces: $7.50 USD (Approx. $11.00 CAD)

Other Merchandise (Ceramics, Art, Glass, & Large Goods)

All non-jewelry items are shipped at below-cost rates listed inside each individual item profile. Rates are structurally scaled by package weight and volume dimensions as outlined below:

3. UNEXPECTED RETURNS & TRANSIT LIABILITY

• Loss & Damage Protection: Because we deal in irreplaceable vintage artifacts, we package every single item using high-grade, protective shockproofing to guarantee safe transit.
• Return Shipments: If you need to return an item under our standard Refund Policy or the European Right of Withdrawal Policy, you must utilize a trackable shipping method with equivalent shipping insurance. We are not liable for items lost, stolen, or broken during a return journey.
