Israel born Baharal and NY born Gnida (who studied at Concordia, Montreal at one point) have been collaborating since the 1980s. Their website has an extensive bio on the pair's history including awards, shows, and publications their art has been featured in.
We were fortunate to also acquire a pair of earrings ~ see last photo and here.
From an extensive collection of mid century through postmodern jewellery acquired between the late 1950s and the 1990s. The collector lived in New York and enjoyed purchasing directly from artists’ studios when possible.
