The flexible filaments in the central portion of the ring are clear when seen in profile and either blue or yellow when seen form above (see photos 2 & 4.) van Heeckeren's work can be found in the Museum of Applied Arts & Science, Australia.

From an extensive collection of mid century through postmodern jewellery acquired between the late 1950s and the 1990s. The collector lived in New York and enjoyed purchasing directly from artists’ studios when possible.
