Bjorn Weckstrom Cassiopeia bracelet

Sculptor, painter, goldsmith, sailor - Weckstrom is the consummate artist. While sharing his countrymen’s artistic ethos, his works in jewellery are quite singular. This vintage bracelet certainly qualifies as a small work of sculpture while bearing all the hallmarks of the work of a true craftsman: each deeply ridged and folded segment is beautifully cast, finished and joined to its neighbour. The most exquisite and well executed feature, however, is its subtly-mounted, almost invisible mechanical clasp.
