This brooch by skilled designer Arne Johansen (active 1954 - 1993 in Roskilde, Denmark) exemplifies his characteristic simplicity of line and form and expertise of craftsmanship. It has a nice weight to it, and is set with his interestingly-cut abalone, another of his trademark elements.
