*Jay Tuttle was kind enough to offer us additional information about these lovely architectonic earrings. They were made around 1975 as part of a limited series of around 6 sets, each featuring a different stone, and one set with a pearl. They were sold out of the Art Museum shop of either Baltimore or Dallas. Tuttle first sold at the American Crafts Fair in New York State ca. 1960, and spent the subsequent 20 years in New Mexico and California making jewellery, which was sold in museum shops across the USA.
