Three matched textile panels by the eccentric brother of Isadora Duncan. Dancer, artist, poet, craftsman and philosopher, his works in textiles are in many collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the Chicago Institute. A set of four panels by Duncan sold at Christie's (London) 20thC Decorative Arts Sale (Oct 2009)  christies.com


These panels are block printed and hand coloured, each signed in the lower right corner. They are unmounted and without damage, save for some fading. 

Size: approx. 17" x 17"
