The Hans Hansen workshop produced a wonderful range of strong, simple and quintessentially Danish Modern silver jewellery from the 1940s until it was eventually incorporated into Georg Jensen in 1992. (Georg Jensen still produces some Hans Hansen designs today.) It was home to great designers, including Karl Gustav Hansen (Hans’ son) and Bent Gabrielsen, who managed the company’s jewellery design from 1953-1969 before forming his own studio.
This bracelet’s deceptively simple design is a classic, and is more commonly found as an all-silver piece.
