The Marguerite daisy is the national flower of Denmark and is Anton Michelsen's most successful creation of the 20th century. It was designed in 1940 to celebrate the birth of Princess (now Queen) Margrethe, and its success is now being repeated in the 21st century since being re-issued by Georg Jensen. This example is in fine vintage condition with no damage to the enamel.
